YES it hurts like hell.
YES typing is a pain.
YES I WAS doing something stupid when I broke it.
NO I don't want to talk about it.
YES you may buy me a drink at the ATL meet next month.
Damn and double damn. First damn: that you broke your arm. Owie! I feel your pain. Second damn: I'm not going to be at the ATL meet, so I won't be able to buy you a drink.
I'm going to rectify both of these situations by having a drink and thinking about you. In fact, I'll make that a double, too.

Yikes!
I broke my arm about 30 years ago. It is still the one thing that hurt (physically) more than anything else in my life.

I can empathize - broke both bones right out when I was 12. Hope you have a quicker recovery than I did.

I swear, some people WILL do anything to avoid posting! ;)
Get well soon, and stop doing cartwheel contests...
I know what you're going through, I broke the same one twice(left, which I write with), broke the same leg twice(right, which I pick my nose with), fingers(both trigger fingers) hand twice, and a knukle just for good measure.
I'm a regular twofer guy...

Get plenty of calcium in and if you smoke, lose the nicotine for at least 6 weeks. Nicotine narrows the arteries and veins and now you need em wide open to deliver the bone fixin calcium. :-)
How do I know this? My surgeon left my leg attached after I was mauled by a Mini way back. He said cos I don't smoke he would let Ma Nature do her thing cos he could not put 27 bits of bone together again. I am still mobile after the accident 27 years ago and the leg is no better at telling the weather than the weatherman. I guess I was lucky. Now if you want pain, have kidney stones! :-)

I was walking down the stairs, saying a couple dozen "yes dears" about 15 months ago. head turned around. missed a step. landed hard on left leg. heard a loud pop. goodbye ACL. Had replacement and microfracture surgery. still hurts. fun
